Job Purpose

The PSCR (Product Safety and Compliance Requirements) interface between production sites, engineering teams, and management. The role focuses on warranty‑related issues, ensuring optimized warranty risks and financial exposures in commercial contracts. It also supports plants with warranty crisis management and lessons learned for Diesel FIS.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure PHINIA engineering and plants address Product Safety and Compliance requirements, implementing appropriate actions and organizing external communication with customers and authorities when required.
Jointly review and support Warranty Terms and Conditions negotiations with customers.
Evaluate impact and calculate associated financial warranty risks.
Participate in establishing commercial offers, taking into account induced warranty costs in the selling price of products.
Support the determination of the most appropriate IBNR front‑loading at SOP to balance unexpected warranty events.
Support recovery processes with insurance companies when applicable.
Provide quality support to warranty issues with diesel products, facilitating data‑driven problem solving, lessons learned, and cross‐functional look‑across.
